Chrysoula Dioli holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology (Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Health and Care Sciences, University of West Attica, 2024), an MSc in Infectious Diseases – Laboratory Public Health (National School of Public Health, 2017), and a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics (Democritus University of Thrace, 2015). She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Bacteriology Laboratory of the Hellenic Pasteur Institute within the project TAEΔK-06179 “Decision Support Systems for Managing Hospital Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (MDR-CDSS)”. As an academic fellow at the Department of Biomedical Sciences (UNIWA), she taught the Bacteriology laboratory course (2021–2025) and co-organized the laboratory workshop “Advanced Molecular Techniques in the Diagnosis of Parasitic and Bacterial Infections” for the MSc program “Biomedical Methods and Diagnostic Technology”. In 2024–2025, she was appointed lecturer under the ESPA program for the course “Water and Food Microbiology”. She has supervised 11 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate theses on microbial analysis of water and wastewater, antimicrobial resistance in clinical and environmental Gram-negative bacteria, and bacterial typing using molecular techniques.
