Eugenia Yiannakopoulou is a Consultant Surgeon specialized in Endocrine Surgery and Breast Surgery. She has worked as Full Time Academic Teacher of the Faculty of Health Sciences , University of West Attica, Athens, Greece. since 2004. In addition, since 2015 she is included in the Faculty Staff of the Master in Science Biomedical Methods and Technology in Diagnosis, Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of West Attica [lectures on hereditary and familial endocrine cancer].. Since 2007 she works as a PI with research interests including minimally invasive surgery and surgical stress, neuroendocrine surgical stress, pharmacological modulation of neuroendocrine surgical stress, minimally invasive endocrine surgery, partial adrenalectomy, familial and hereditary breast and endocrine cancer, pharmacogenomics, epigenetics. Research collaborations include Medical School National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Medical School of Strassburg, Working Groups of the European Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics

Eugenia Yiannakopoulou is member of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, of the British Pharmacological Society, of the European Association of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, of the European Network for the study of Adrenal Tumors, of the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons . Eugenia Yiannakopoulou was member of the Research Committee of EAES from 2014 to 2020.
Publication record: 60 research papers published in international journals, 12 book chapters, 60 papers presented at national and international conferences, 1213 citations, RG Score 31,83, h Index :18. She is Editor in Chief of the Journal of Surgery and Surgical Technology, Section Editor of Open Hypertension Journal and executive Editor of International Journal of Immunotherapy and Cancer Research and of Archives of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, member of the Editorial Board of at least 20 International Journals. She is a Reviewer of peer-reviewed journals including Surgical Endoscopy, British Journal of Surgery, European Journal of Pharmacology, Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, Molecular Nutrition and Food Research.. She has served as a Research Program Reviewer, Grant Reviewer, International Congress Abstract Reviewer. She is Editor of the Books ‘Diclofenac’’and ‘Environmental Pharmacology of Diclofenac’published by Nova Science Publishers, that are proof corrected.
