George D. Bablekos MD, MSc, Phd is Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department, Faculty of Health Sciences and Caring, of the West Attica University, Athens, Greece. Dr Bablekos is graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with grade very well (7), in November 4th 1992. The Medical Specialty of Dr Bablekos is “Thoracic Surgery” (date of receipt , November 21th 2006). Dr Bablekos is also possessor (date of receipt October 22th 2002, grade excellent) of a Doctoral Thesis (PhD) entitled “Applied Respiratory Physiology in Laparoscopic Surgery in Biliary Tract”, performed under the supervision of the Laboratory of the Experimental Physiology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece. Three (3) international publications, resulted from Dr Bablekos’ PhD Thesis, have been included in Pubmed data-base.

Besides, Dr Bablekos is possessor of a post-graduate degree (MSc) in Thoracic Oncology (date of receipt July 16th 2014, grade very good-7.02), entitled “Thoracic Oncology: Μodern Clinical Laboratory Approach and Research” organized by the Oncologic Unit of the Third (3d) Department of Internal Medicine, “SOTIRIA” General Hospital Athens, Greece, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece. One (1) international publication, resulted from Dr. Bablekos’ post-graduate thesis, entitled “Meta-Analysis: Comorbidity of Lung Cancer and Heart Disease”, has been included in Pubmed data-base.

Dr Bablekos has a great experience (over than 15 years) in higher education teaching, either in undergraduate or postgraduate level, focusing on the following Known objects: Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Internal Medicine, First Aids.

Dr Bablekos has also successfully supervised, being simultaneously a member of the Three-Member Scientific Advisory Committee, eight (8) postgraduate theses in the MSc “Biomedical Methods and Technology in Diagnosis”, being organized and supervised by Medical Laboratories Direction / Departement of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences and Caring, University of West Attica, Athens, Greece.

In addition, Dr Bablekos presents a remarkable research work including 28 publications in Pubmed, 36 abstracts in International Medical Congressess (22 out of them are published in Supplements of International Medical Journalis indexed in Pubmed), 3 publications in the proceedings of two International Congressess, 71 abstracts in National Congressess, 10 publications in National Medical Journals and more than 100 reviews, as a registered reviewer, in a variety of International Medical Journals all indexed in Pubmed.
