It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to our Postgraduate Studies Program entitled “Biomedical Methods and Technology in Diagnosis” of the University of West Attica (UniWA).
The Postgraduate Studies Program came to cover the leapfrog development of Biomedical Sciences, where the continuous and in-depth Lifelong Learning and Training, based on the modern and newest knowledge of the Biotechnological Revolution, became mandatory in the Health Sector. The aim of the program is to strengthen professional qualifications through the acquisition of advanced knowledge in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis on new Technologies applied in Diagnosis.

Target Audience
The MSc program appeals to those holding a Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) University degree related to Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Health and Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Polytechnics, as well as graduates in related subjects, who wish to improve and update their personal, professional and academic skills.
WHY SHOULD I PREFER IT ?
- It is the only MSc program in Greece, as regards to the clinical application of new emerging technologies in the field of Health.
- Provides high-level theoretical training and practical expertise in all areas of Biomedical Diagnosis and Prevention.
- Develops the ability to fully integrate and utilize technology in modern issues of Diagnosis and Epidemiology.
CURRICULUM
Teaching hours in the afternoon
Theoretical courses and workshops are taught Monday & Wednesday 16.00-20.00 in the 1st and 2nd semesters of studies.
In the 3rd semester, the specialized seminars are taught Tuesday 16.00-20.00.
